Description

A low deciduous shrub with beautiful golden leaves. The variety grows up to 60 centimeters in height and the same width. It also needs strong annual pruning. Thanks to it, it retains a compact, slightly irregular and bushy habit. Japanese meadowsweet Golden Princess it has erect, branching stems that have a slight orange tint. They are decorated in large numbers with small, elliptical leaves that are finely serrated at the edge and pointed at the end. Young growths are yellow-brown, but quickly turn golden yellow, and in autumn they turn golden. It is worth adding that their color in shaded positions will be green. In June, the shrub blooms with small, pink flowers that gather on the shoots in flat inflorescences. Japanese meadowsweet Golden Princess is an easy-to-grow shrub. It grows most beautifully in sunny positions, thanks to which the color of its leaves is golden, and the habit is dense and attractive. It has no special soil requirements and is fully frost-resistant. The plant wonderfully complements any garden, and its small size allows it to fit into any space.
