Description

The shrub grows moderately fast, it usually grows up to 1.5 meters in height. It also has a wide and spherical habit. Its shoots are erect, over time they grow strongly. Redcurrantblooms in April with small yellow flowers. The variety ripens quite early, already in July. It yields moderately abundant fruit, and the fruit is gathered in long and compact clusters. Thanks to this, the currants are easily harvested by hand. The fruits are quite large and intensely red. Their firm, juicy flesh has a sweet and sour taste. Redcurrant is not difficult to grow. It bears fruit best in warm and sunny positions, or slightly shaded. It also needs a fertile, permeable and constantly moist substrate, the reaction of which will be slightly acidic.
