Description

A variety of hydrangeas with snow-white, slightly green inflorescences at the ends. The shrub grows up to 2 meters, although it is usually kept at 1.5 meters in height. At the same time, it is very spreading, with a width almost equal to height. The stems are densely entwined with large leaves. They are ovoid, quite long and pointed, and their blade is hairy on both sides. They have a dark green, intense color that contrasts wonderfully with bright inflorescences. The flowers are small, but they gather in incredibly dense bunches. At the very beginning they are slightly green, but they quickly change their color to pure white, only its ends remain slightly greenish. At the end of flowering, the flowers turn a light pink color. The hydrangea Polar Beat blooms from the beginning of August to the end of September, sometimes until the first days of October. Its beautiful, dry inflorescences decorate the garden also in winter.
